Description:

Join Watergirl Quilt Co. via ZOOM for our ByAnnie Club. Each session is designed to build confidence and skills while exploring the techniques used across all ByAnnie patterns.

ByAnnie is a renowned name in the world of sewing and crafting, offering a wide array of patterns designed to help makers create beautiful, functional projects. Known for their innovative designs and easy-to-follow instructions, ByAnnie patterns are a favourite among sewists of all skill levels.

Recordings:

Class recordings will be available to all participants and can be accessed for up to 90 days after the final class of each session. You will be sewing along with Michelle during these sessions and will have opportunities to ask questions when you attend the live Zoom session.

Cosmetic Clutches come in three sizes and are easy to make.  They open wide for easy access and close with a hidden magnetic snap. They’re great for travel or storage and can be used as purses with an added strap. Michelle will show you how to add these features.

- rounded corners

- zipper insertion

- sewing with vinyl

- sewing with mesh

- sewing with faux leather (for those who chose to use faux leather)

- how to make and apply bias binding

- how to quilt Soft and Stable foam batting

- use of sew-in magnets

- how to make handles

Skill Details:

This is the Level 1 – Beginner series of classes that will introduce you to many of the techniques used in making of many of the more advanced skills used in the making of the ByAnnie patterns. Beginners welcome; it is assumed you are familiar with your sewing machine.

Materials Included:

Class recordings; available for at least 90 days after each class.

Does NOT include fabric nor ByAnnie patterns.

Requirements:

Access to an electronic device with microphone, video, wifi and current version of Zoom. All the supplies as listed in the class descriptions.

Michelle Peters, passionate owner of Watergirl Quilt Co. is an experienced ByAnnie bag maker and instructor.  She was an elementary school teacher for 25 years, quilter for over 30 years and loves to see others experience the joy of success.
