Shipping policy

All domestic orders receive free shipping with a minimum purchase of $175.00 before applicable taxes. Please note that class registrations and gift card purchases do not count towards free shipping. In the event that you do not receive your package, we will file a claim with the delivery provider. Until that claim is resolved, we might not be able to send you a replacement order. We are not responsible for delayed or late deliveries once parcels are in the hands of the shipping provider. We will do our utmost to assist in tracking packages.

Lettermail shipping is available upon request, only for the mailing of patterns. Please note that lettermail is not insured by Canada Post and Watergirl Quilt Co. will not be responsible for replacement merchandise should your order not arrive.
International Shipping

We ship to the contiguous United States and the cost is $23.99 CDN on orders with a subtotal of $174.99 CDN. For orders with a subtotal of $175.00 CDN or more, we offer a preferred shipping rate of $18.99 CDN.

We do not ship to the Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Puerto Rico or other American territories.
How are orders packaged for shipping?
We will package your order in the most suitable way to secure the best shipping price and expediency of delivery. This means that when you order a fabric bundle, it will not necessarily arrive looking as it did on the shop website. For example, a fat quarter bundle that is folded and tied with a ribbon, stacked as a bundle, might be dismantled to make your package flatter to in order to keep shipping costs down as the larger the width of the package, the higher the shipping cost.
What are my options for receiving my order?
  • Choose In-store pickup and visit the store Tuesday-Saturday between 9:30am and 4:30pm (also open Sundays during the summer season).
  • Shipping is by either Canada Post or by one of our courier partners. Our team will choose which option works best for your package at the time of processing. The shipping fees are the same for either method of delivery and are stated above.
  • Contact the store if you are only ordering a pattern and we can arrange to ship to you by lettermail rate. There is no insurance on your product with this rate and we cannot replace your order if it doesn't arrive to you.
