Description:
You’ve seen them all over the interest and now is your chance to make your own Cashmerette Canton Moto Jacket in time for late Spring, but it can be worn at any time of year!
The Cashmerette Canton Moto Jacket is designed for mid-to heavyweight woven fabrics. Quilting cottons will work well. What a chance to show off the fabrics of your favourite designer!
The Canton Moto Jacket pattern has the following features; zippered pockets, classic biker-style jacket details like an asymmetrical front zip, wide notched lapel, zipper pockets, lined interior, padded shoulders and gusseted zipper sleeve openings. Front princess seams and back fisheye darts provide essential shaping for curves, along with two-piece sleeves with a full bicep option. This class, we will NOT include the zipper pockets, padded shoulders nor the gusseted sleeve openings. The lining is modified as we are using our quilted layers that will replace the individual main fabric and lining. NOR is it a fitting class,
Choose between cropped or hip length and top it off with large snaps for a timeless jacket you'll wear for years to come;
Please note; this is not a pattern "fitting" class.
Prerequisite: This is a great garment-making entry point for seasoned quilters, bag makers. It would not be appropriate for a new sewer.
