One project. Multiple BERNINA machines. So many ways to stitch!

Spend the day experimenting with techniques you may have never tried before—from paper piecing and embroidery to couching, decorative stitching, vinyl, free-motion quilting and even zipper insertion. You'll move from machine to machine, building your skills as you go, and finish the day with a stylish zippered pouch packed with techniques to inspire your next project.

• Couching (#22 Cording foot with 3 grooves)
• Decorative Stitching with Combi Mode
• Decorative Chainstitching
• Four- Point Placement
• Binding strips 
• Sewing on Vinyl
• Free-Motion Quilting with BSR

• Assembly at the Serger

Fee includes:

• Machines are provided for your use 
• All threads needed
• Full supply kit: fabrics, all stabilizers, vinyl, hardware and a zipper (choice of two different kits with a value of $59).
• Hot and cold beverages and snacks
• Small brown bagged lunch of cheese, crackers, apple, almonds (please let us know if allergic and we will remove) and a sweet treat.

Complimentary

Coffee and tea will be available in our kitchenette.  Please bring a travel mug or sealed cup to avoid any spillage.  Tap water in our classroom is drinkable.

Parking:

Limited parking spots are available in the parking lot at store level due to construction on the building exterior.   Please refer to signage to ensure you are NOT parked in a designated residential parking spot.  Free long term town parking is available on the river side of our building (to the left).  There is NO parking allowed on Water Street.  E-chargers are available within the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot.  NOTE: there is a time limit for parking at Shoppers Drug Mart.
