Class - Thread Painted Seasonal Tree with Robin Bogaert - October 17th

Class fee includes: (There is no prep work for this class)

Choice of supply kit that will include top, lining, backing, batting, green 100% merino wool and 3 spools of Mettler Polysheen thread, SF101 interfacing and fusible web (kit value of $39 including thread).

You can choose your kit when you arrive or come and visit the shop before the class date to pick up your kit.

Additional fabric kits (thread not included) will be available for purchase in case you wish to make more of these gorgeous pillow covers!

Lunch of sandwiches, cookies, fruit and drinks will be included. Please note that if you are allergic or have food sensitivities that you may wish to bring your own lunch.

Please note that you need to bring your own sewing machine to this event. All brands are welcome.

Instructor Bio:

Robin Bogaert is a long arm quilter, creator and blogger at quiltingintheloft.com and has many years of quilting experience. Robin lives in Port Sydney, ON. Robin considers the focus of work to be designing, teaching, trunk shows, free motion quilting, ruler work and thread painting. Robin has always been brand loyal & passionate about Bernina Sewing Machines and is considered a BERNINA Q Series expert providing educational workshops for BERNINA Canada & local quilt/sewing shops.

Robin was featured in the Summer 2016 and 2017 (Canada 150 th) edition of Quilters’ Connection Magazine. Robin was also the featured artist/trunk show presenter at the St Jacobs Quilt Festival in 2019. In addition, Robin is a current Bernina Brand Ambassador & blog writer for BERNINA International Blog.

Coffee and tea will be available in our kitchenette.  Please bring a travel mug or sealed cup to avoid any spillage.  Tap water in our classroom is drinkable.

Parking:

Limited parking spots are available in the parking lot at store level due to the current construction at our building.   Please refer to signage to ensure you are NOT parked in a designated residential parking spot.  Free long term town parking is available on the river side of our building (to the left).  There is NO parking allowed on Water Street.  E-chargers are available within the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot.  NOTE: there is a time limit for parking at Shoppers Drug Mart.
