Q Series: Come Play with the Big Machines! October 15, 2026

When:

Friday, October 17th

1 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Q SERIES: COME PLAY WITH THE BIG MACHINES!

Curious about longarm quilting? Thinking about a BERNINA Q Series? Already own one and want to get more out of it? Come play!

This is your chance to get hands-on with the BERNINA Q Series in a fun, relaxed, no-pressure environment. Forget the fear of pressing the wrong button—we’ll have machines ready for you to try, and Allison Giroux, a BERNINA Educator will here to guide you, answer your questions and help you discover what these machines can really do.

We’ll explore the different ways you can quilt with a Q Series, including sit-down quilting and quilting on a frame, so you can see—and actually try—which setup feels right for you.

You’ll get to experiment with features such as BERNINA Stitch Regulator (BSR) modes, try your hand at free-motion quilting, explore ruler work and pantographs, and discover the possibilities available when you put a Q Series in your quilting space.

And what about Q-matic? If computerized quilting has you curious, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how it can help you tackle everything from edge-to-edge quilting to custom designs—with precision and confidence.

Maybe you’ll discover that Q-matic is exactly what you’ve been looking for. It could even be the addition to launch your own small business as a longarm quilter.

Or maybe you’ll decide that you ARE the computer and would rather be the one moving the machine and creating every stitch yourself! 😉

Not sure if a longarm is for you?

Come try before you decide.

There’s no pressure to buy and no silly questions. Our goal is to give you a safe place to experiment, get comfortable with the machines and leave knowing which Q Series—and which quilting setup—might be the right fit for YOU.

Q Series floor models will be ready and waiting for you to try. All you need to bring is your curiosity (and maybe a notebook if you’re a note-taking kind of quilter!).

Already own a Q Series?

Perfect! This event is for you, too. Come try the other models, brush up on features, explore different setups, or see whether adding Q-matic could take your quilting to the next level.

A Little Something Extra!

If you decide to purchase a BERNINA or bernette machine, your registration fee will be converted into a gift certificate to use at Watergirl Quilt Co. on accessories, fabrics, threads—or whatever else makes your quilting heart happy!

Plus, we will offer exclusive pricing and gifts with purchase that you won't get anywhere other than at this event!

Come curious. Come ask questions. Come try the machines. Come have some fun!
