Your Private Group Retreat

Do you have your own group of people and want a place to gather and be creative, for 1 day or more?  This offering is for all groups;  sewing, quilting, knitting, card making and more ... consider renting out our classroom for you own private group retreat! 

Or do you have some other group that needs a place to meet?

Price: $250 per day flat rate for maximum of 8 participants. No minimum

Room use if available from 9am to 4pm. You may arrange to sew in the evening for a supplemental fee.

Inclusions:
  • coffee, tea and morning snacks of sweets and fruit
  • sandwich and veggie platter or a salad bar option (served in the classroom for lunch)
  • we give you a door prize valued at $25 to use for your group
  • access to the classroom with bathroom, kitchenette and private entrance from 9am to 4pm
  • projector available for use for presentations


In our classroom at Watergirl Quilt Co, you will be able to enjoy the use of our

- tables; sit / stand mechanical raise and lower
- chairs
- iron and ironing boards
- cutting mats on large table for cutting 
- cutting mat at each workstation
- access to storage cubbies for personal items

NOTE: for added comfort bring a seat cushion.

This offering is for all groups: any crafters are welcome, not just quilters. book your knitting, scrap booking, groups, etc.



BONUS offering:

Sign for 2 consecutive days or more and each member of your group will receive a 10% discount to shop while at the retreat. Must be used during retreat  and is not transferable to others.

Sign for 3 consecutive days or more and each member of your group will receive a 15% discount to shop while at the retreat. Must be used during retreat  and is not transferable to others.


Arrival:

You may enter via the main door of the store or if someone is in the classroom they can open that door to make it easier to bring your things in.  You will allowed in at 9am, prior to the official store opening of 9:30 a.m. Once in, you will be directed to the classroom where you will have access to the private entrance. 


Parking:

Limited parking spots are available in the parking lot at store level.  Please refer to signage to ensure you are NOT parked in a spot that is designated for resident parking.  Free long term town parking is available on the river side of our building, to the left. There is no parking allowed on the Water Street. E-chargers are available within the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot  

NOTE: there is time limit for the parking in the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot. 

 


Cancellation policy:
  • payment must be made in full at time of booking
  • cancellation of the booking 3 weeks prior will forfeit 25% of your paid booking
  • cancellation of the booking up to one week before will forfeit 50% of your paid booking
  • cancellation of the booking less than one week of the reserved date will not receive any refund
